Captain's log, July 25: Jealousy galore when our scopes of work for the projects arrived.
Rumor has it that that one project (we work in pairs on a total of 5 projects) includes a field trip to the Himalayas!
Overall based out of Mumbai but travel to the Ladakh region (close to the Tibetan border) via an overnight stay in Delhi. Al-righ-ty!

And yes... My fortune cookie that day read: "You can always find happiness at work on Friday."
Huh? OK, didn't quite give it away but - woohoo! Yours truly hit the jackpot.
Fieldtrip here we come.

I am SO cursing this travelling round the country now that reality (read: packing) kicked in!

+ Mumbai (elevation: sea level - weather: humid and hot)
+ Ladakh (elevation: 4000 meters - weather: cold and icy wind)
